Category average

Average for a category

Every page is difficulty-rated, so each collection carries an average, a quick read on whether it leans toward chunky shapes or fine detail before you open it.

How to choose

Not sure where to start?

Here's how we think about it: four quick checks and you'll land on the right level every time.

1

Look at the detail

Count the zones and check the line thickness. Fewer, bigger shapes mean an easier page.

2

Think about focus time

Match the level to how long your child happily sits and colours in one go.

3

When in doubt, go lower

A slightly easy page builds confidence, and you can always move up next time.

4

Let older kids choose

From about eight, they usually know exactly what they are in the mood for.
